Jelena focuses her practice on delivering efficient, pragmatic solutions, recognizing that effective legal counsel must be both strategic and results oriented. With a commitment to cutting through complexity and prioritizing what matters most, Jelena approaches every matter with a practical mindset. Equally central to her practice is a steadfast dedication to integrity—guiding clients with candor, sound judgment, and professionalism.
Jelena’s practice centers on regulatory and compliance matters. Before joining Cassidy Law, Jelena was at a boutique regulatory law firm in Washington, D.C. where she assisted clients in responding to regulatory inquiries and enforcement matters, including those brought by the Federal Trade Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Department of Justice, and various state regulators. Jelena worked with her colleagues advising a wide variety of businesses from small technology companies to large, global entities.
This is Jelena’s second turn working with Cassidy Law. She first worked with the firm as a law student and right after she graduated. She gained experience and insights in working with founders and learned it requires a lawyer to not only advise on the law but to understand the client’s mission as well as its products and technology while problem-solving beyond just regulatory issues.
Prior to that, Jelena attended The George Washington Law School. During law school, Jelena was a member of the International Law Review. She also completed internships with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the D.C. Office of the Attorney General.
